Position Title: TA Position - Piano

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Reports To: Mark A. Pottinger, Ph.D., Professor of Music and Musicology

Start: Spring 2025

Position Summary:

Teaching Assistants will work with beginning piano students enrolled in MUSC 208, Piano Skills and Technique I, and MUSC 258, Piano Skills and Techniques II.

Responsibilities:

• Help students understand sitting position at the piano, finger placement, pedal work, note reading, and rhythm and meter.
• Students will work up to 5 hours a week
