The Department of English and World Languages and Literatures at Manhattan University seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses this fall and spring.

Courses for which we seek instructors

  • First Year Composition
  • Business Communication

Responsibilities:

Adjunct will be expected to:

- Prepare syllabus for the course, provide instructional content for the assigned courses.
- Ensure active participation and engagement of students.
- Support a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- Adhere to the college's mission and values, submit grades on time and otherwise comply with related requests from the chair.

Qualifications:

Successful applicant will have at least a master’s degree and ideally a doctorate in the appropriate discipline.

Salary Range:

  • Instructor $1477.28 per credit
  • Assistant Professor $1526.25 per credit
  • Associate Professor $1575.65 per credit
  • Professor $1625.04 per credit
