Adjunct Instructors in Religious Studies

The Department of Religion and Philosophy seeks instructors to teach the following courses in the Fall and Spring semesters:

Fall 2024:

  • The Nature and Experience of Religion
  • Death as a Fact of Life

Spring 2025:

  • The Nature and Experience of Religion
  • Religions of India
  • Buddhism
  • Religion and Environmentalism
  • Topics in Religion and Culture

Responsibilities:

Adjunct will be expected to:

  • Prepare syllabus for the course and provide instructional content for the assigned courses.
  • Ensure active participation and engagement of students.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adhere to the college's mission and values, submit grades on time, and otherwise comply with related requests from the chair.

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have at least a master’s degree and, ideally, a doctorate in the appropriate discipline.

Salary Range:

Instructor $1477.28 per credit

Assistant Professor $1526.25 per credit

Associate Professor $1575.65 per credit

Professor $1625.04 per credit
