Description:

The primary focus is to support the Manhattan College community's technology needs. The Desktop Operations Technician performs daily operations of the Desktop Operations office. Our team provides support for the computer lab and classroom computers and the software on them. Day-to-day responsibilities include checking ticketing, supporting faculty and students, writing installation scripts, installing software, using the Quest KACE system, and troubleshooting. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to writing and updating technology-based documentation, assisting colleagues, researching, and self-evaluating and assessing Desktop Operations skills and knowledge. Additional responsibilities are to be determined by Supervisors depending on the office's needs. Training is provided.

Hourly Rate: $16.00
