Short summary of position: The role involves conducting simulations of Higgs boson production and decay processes. This includes performing advanced calculations of elements of the spin density matrix to analyze and interpret particle interactions and properties, contributing to the study of fundamental particles in high-energy physics.

Key responsibilities:

  • simulation of the Higgs boson production and decay
  • calculation elements of spin density matrix
  • participation in group meetings

Reports to: Dr. Rostislav Konoplich

Qualifications:

· knowledge of basics of quantum and Higgs boson physics

  • Python and C++
  • Knowledge of ATLAS software

Salary: $18/h
