Short summary of position: The Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences
seeks Research Assistants to support Fenton Endowed Faculty Scholars.

Key responsibilities:

• Be available to work up to 8 hours per week. Exact schedule will be determined after hiring.
• Be able to follow and optimize laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Help prepare solutions and refill reagents.
• Maintain the cleanliness of lab spaces and common equipment used in the laboratories.
• Help with training undergraduate students.

Reports to: Department Chair
Qualifications:

• Prior research experience in biology.
• Good academic standing.
• Work independently in a laboratory.
• Be on time.
• Detail oriented and efficient.
• Good listening and communication skills.

Salary: $18/hr
