Position Title: Student Worker (Undergraduate and Graduate students may apply)

Department: Procurement

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Reports To: The Director of Procurement

Position Summary:

Manhattan University's Procurement Department, located in De La Salle Hall, Suite 105, oversees the institution's purchasing activities. The department is currently seeking a student worker to support various administrative functions, assist with data entry, and help maintain proper records within various systems.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of vendors and requisitions (Reqs) into Unimarket and Banner systems

• Update and maintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes

• Scan, copy, and file documents as needed to ensure proper record-keeping

• Follow up with vendors when needed

• Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to support operations and maintain workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

• Available to work through June 30, 2025

• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

• Ability to learn and effectively use new systems such as Unimarket and Banner

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Previous experience with administrative or data entry tasks is a plus
