Student Supplemental Instructor
Position Title: Supplemental Instruction (SI’s) Department: Center of Academic Success Compensation: $17.00/hour with raises tied to CRLA certification Reports to: Melinda Wilson, Director, Center for Academic Success Position Summary: SI’s attend the course they are partnered with and run weekly study/review sessions. Study sessions are facilitated by peer educators who have previously completed the targeted course and received a minimum of an A-. During the study sessions, peer educators facilitate collaborative study by utilizing group study strategies and techniques specific to the course. Targeted Courses for Supplemental Instructors: PSYC150, MATH100, MATH186, CHEM101, BIOL111, PHYS101, HIST217, HIST150, RHS315, ENGL110 (Please do not apply unless you are eligible to tutor in one of these courses.)
