Salary: $28.02 per hour ($51,000 annualized)
Reports To: Assistant Vice President for University Advancement
Position Summary:
Manhattan University is seeking a Development Assistant to join the Annual Development Program team. The Development Assistant will provide crucial support to the fundraising and development efforts of the university. This is an in person on campus non remote position.

Responsibilities:

Provide support for multiple development officers for varied projects and events including, but not limited to: the Fund for Manhattan, Capital Campaign, and De La Salle Medal Dinner, technical projects and general office tasks (data entry, mail merges, spreadsheet modeling and graphics, scheduling meetings, incoming and outgoing phone calls, and maintenance of office files including scanning and uploading documents).

Prepare acknowledgements, pledge reminders, and other personalized correspondence in a timely manner.

Run various data queries, exports, and gift reports from Raiser’s Edge.

Process Unimarket (and office supply) orders. Process payments. Credit card reconciliation. Equipment maintenance (copiers, etc.).

Regularly review department budgets and ensure the timely payment of invoices.

Provide hospitality, greet, and announce guests.

Manage student workers, including student thank-a-thon program.

Other duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; some higher education coursework required.

Minimum of two years of relevant or directly related experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Raiser’s Edge required.

Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
