Position Title: Student Archives Assistant
The Manhattan University and De La Salle Christian Brothers Archives seeks a student worker to assist the archivist on a part-time basis in the processing of collections and in helping support office operations.
Hourly Rate: $16.50
Academic Year: 2025-2026
Reports To: The Director of Archives and Special Collections Library
Responsibilities:

Physical arrangement and description of archival collections

Describe and document collections using Archives Space database, the in-house Archives content management system

Prepare and encode finding aids

Assist in outreach via the Archives website, including digitizing content, working on online exhibitions

Assist in providing reference service including responding to research requests and overseeing the reading room

Other special projects and duties as assigned
