Position Title: Graduate Assistant - Athletics Marketing & Communications
Job Duties/Responsibilities for Marketing Graduate Assistant:
- Design and implement graphics for promotions throughout the year
- Assist in creating in-game scripts and fan engagement elements on gameday
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities for assigned sports
- Serve as Box Office manager and supervise game day ticket operations
- Assist with box-office operations, counter/online sales for all ticketed games/events
- Collaborate on annual ticket campaigns to develop and implement new ways to drive revenue and attendance at games
- Assist with reconciliation of event sales and help with reporting of revenue generation and event attendance
- Oversee student employees at select events
- Research projects as directed and be able to present a summary and an opinion of the findings as related to athletics
- Coordinate the basketball Jasper Club including credentials, entrance to the club
- Assist in planning and execution of special events for athletics
- Traveling to athletic games and events when required
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in marketing or sports information preferred
- Knowledge of sports statistics, video streaming, graphic design, marketing, website management and social media
- Contribute to content creation, expected to provide ideas and help with the execution of content
- The ability to work efficiently, effectively, and agreeably under pressure; work independently andwork well with others
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (morning/day/evening/weekends) during the academic year

End date: 5/31/2025
Hours: Maximum of 20 hours per week or 300 hours per semester
Compensation: Tuition Remission (9 credits per semester)
