Position Summary:
The Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences - Counseling and Therapy Programs is seeking a Graduate Assistant with strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. The individual will be able to work independently and to multi-task. We are seeking someone who is dependable, flexible, able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality when needed. In addition, the following skills are required: proficiency and accuracy in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), excellent writing skills, proficiency in social media platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining on-going program reports

Assisting with special projects and events

General clerical work: filing, scanning

Assisting with research for department chair and full-time professors

Maintaining social media for the Counseling & Therapy Programs
Reports to: Department Coordinators and Department Chair and Counseling & Therapy Graduate Program Directors as needed for special projects
Compensation: 6 graduate credits per semester
Qualifications:

Background in School Counseling/Mental Health Counseling/Marriage & Family Therapy preferable
