Position Title: Student Worker

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Position Summary:

The Department of Religion & Philosophy seeks a student worker who can provide administrative support with copying, printing, posting, publicizing events, and social media management for our disciplinary fields, which include Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Peace & Justice Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support (photocopying, posting flyers, etc) to Dept. Chair and Faculty
  • Manage departmental social media presence
  • Attend departmental events and document with photo/video as appropriate
  • Assist faculty with assorted tasks

Chair of Religion & Philosophy

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible and communicative
  • Have a Manhattan cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Have excellent social media skills
