Position Title: Student Worker
Job description:
This role focuses on exploring three-level quantum systems and their potential applications in high-energy physics. The student will work on implementing quantum algorithms using Qiskit to address optimization problems relevant to particle physics research.
Key responsibilities:

Conducting research on three-level quantum systems.

Developing and testing quantum algorithms using Qiskit for applications in high-energy physics.

Running simulations and analyzing results using Qiskit tools and IBM quantum platform.

Participating in group discussions and presenting progress updates.
Preferred Qualifications:

knowledge of basics of quantum physics and quantum computing

Qiskit, Python and CERN ROOT
-
knowledge of ATLAS software

Hours: up to 6 per week
Hourly Rate: $ 19.00
