Hours: up to 6 per week

Position Summary:

The role involves conducting simulations of Higgs boson production and decay processes beyond the Standard Model of elementary particles. This includes performing advanced calculations of matrix elements and elements of the spin density matrix to analyze and interpret particle interactions and properties, contributing to the study of fundamental particles in high-energy physics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Simulation of the Higgs boson production and decay beyond the SM of elementary
  • particles
  • Analytical calculations of matrix elements and decay probabilities
  • Calculation elements of spin density matrix
  • Participation in group meetings and discussions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basics of quantum and Higgs boson physics
  • Python, C++, CERN ROOT
  • FeynCalc
  • Knowledge of ATLAS software
