Position Title: Student Worker

Job Description: The Department of Mathematics and Physics at Manhattan is seeking a student assistant who wants to contribute to the life of the department. In this role, you’ll help maintain our shared spaces in Hayden Hall, keep information flowing through social media and bulletin boards, and lend a hand with events that bring our students and faculty together. This is a hands-on position for a dependable student who likes to stay organized and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities

Messaging & Communication: Maintain department social media, bulletin boards, and other signage.

Shared Spaces: Help keep the Math/Phys library and other common areas in Hayden Hall organized and welcoming.

Events & Engagement: Assist with open house events and other student-focused activities.

General Support: Provide occasional help with departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.

Interest in contributing to the life of the Mathematics & Physics Department is a plus

Hourly Rate: $16.50/hr
