Position Title: Student Laboratory Assistant
Job description: The Department of Mathematics and Physics at Manhattan is seeking a part-time student lab assistant to support our Introductory Physics Labs in Hayden Hall. This role is essential to keeping the labs running smoothly and ensuring a positive experience for students.
Key responsibilities

Set up, take down, and maintain organization of lab equipment for PHYS 191 and PHYS 192

Test experimental setups to ensure they function properly

Report any broken or missing equipment to the Lab Manager
Preferred Qualifications:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and communication skills

Attention to detail and care in handling equipment

Preference will be given to students who have successfully completed PHYS 191 and PHYS 192 and who are in good academic standing

Hourly Rate: $16.50/hr
