Position Title: Recreation & Wellness Worker

Position Summary:

This position will entail working as an intramural referee, fitness center staff, and various other responsibilities within the Recreation office. Intramurals will be 2 times a week for 3 hours each day. Intramurals meet every Tuesday/Thursday until May 1st. The fitness center will be once or twice a week for two hours each day throughout the semester.

Requirements:

The position is for students enrolled at Manhattan University that are eligible to work on campus in their Financial Aid award package

  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
  • Interest in sports

Physical Demands:

The position requires individuals to sit or stand for long periods during games or events. This position requires occasionally working outdoors during inclement weather. While performing some of the duties of this job, employees must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-40 pounds.

Hourly Rate: $16.50
