Position Title: Jaspers Vote, Student Worker

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Position Summary:

Jaspers Vote is a nonpartisan project on campus that encourages students to register and vote in all elections for which they are eligible. Jaspers Vote seeks to hire students to plan and carry out activities that will lead to more Manhattan University students participating in elections.

Responsibilities:

• Attend team meetings
• Help to plan events, especially the September 17 voter power festival
• Make flyers
• Make classroom presentations to invite students to register and vote
• Other special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a student at Manhattan University – Students from all schools are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Canva is a plus
• Attention to detail
